  • Where can I collect my merch and where can I buy some?

Need a guide to merch this weekend? Well, this is the post for you. Where to collect my shirt! We know people have been loving the AG shirts which we've created for this year's event. If you bought one before the event, you can now collect your shirt from admin at the event. Please come see the team any time admin is open to collect your shirt. What if I want to buy a shirt? If you forgot to buy a shirt, you're still welcome to try to collect one of the final few shirts we're selling at the canteen. Sizes are limited, and we need to make sure that we have enough for everyone, so we will only be selling one per person. Shirts are strictly $35 each. If you're lucky, there might be some leftover bucket hats from last year. There's only about ten left, so you'll need to get in quick on Friday night to secure your spare bucket hat. These are going for $10 each.

  • What hi-vis vest means what?

Wondering what all the different coloured vests mean here at A.G.? Here's a breakdown of what all the different colours mean and what teams you can find out around site. First and foremost, our most important team is the health and wellbeing team. There will be a round site in Pink Vest ready to help you if you have any issues while you are at the weekend. You might even see them driving around in their pink buggy, ready to provide assistance to anyone who needs it. But there are always other people around the site wearing different kinds of vests. Other colours you may see are our bright yellow vests. These indicate a member of committee who is doing important work to keep you safe. These are jobs like sites and services, or our Friday night check-in team, who are going to help marshal the cars into the right queues. They're always around, side, helping to make sure all our facilities are clean, functional, and ready to support the 1,500 participants we expect on site. Beyond just our sites and services team, there's also the marketing team running around, ready to take photos for the weekend to make sure that memories last a lifetime. They can be seen in their orange vests walking around the site, cameras in hand, ready to make sure that they've got the best snaps of everyone around the site. Sometimes our committee aren't wearing high-vis shirts, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't follow their direction. You can see AG committee shirts walking around the site with their name on the back and the AG logo. Make sure to follow their directions if they ask you to do something. Most of the time it'll be for your safety and to ensure you have the best experience. And there you go... that's what you can expect to see walking around the site this weekend, as we put on one of the best venture events of the year

  • How do I collect my free hot jam donuts?

If you registered and paid before 11:59pm on the 31st of January, you're eligible to collect your free hot bag of donuts at the event. These will be able to be collected from the canteen and you'll get your name ticked off the list. Didn't register in time? Don't worry you can buy some donuts instead or even get yourself a nice cold drink! Nothing says winning like free hot jam donuts so make sure to collect yours before the weekend is over. You've earned them!

  • Are there pocket badges this year?

If you've been asking whether AG does pocket badges, for many years the answer has been no. However, backed by popular demand, the committee this year has decided to get some pocket badges made for every participant and adult. These pocket badges will be included in your unit pack as you check in and will be able to be collected from your leader. Make sure you don't lose them, as we don't have spares to give out for free. You can sew these on just above your pocket on your scout shirt. We'll have a new set next year, so you can add a second AG one to show how many years you've been coming along. Also excited about this change? Make sure to share it on our socials and with your friends. Let's make this the best AG ever!!!

  • Your guide to Transport at AG

Amongst all the excitement and activities, getting to and from everything is a huge task and there are multiple times throughout the weekend you'll be seeing our transport team. Here is our guide to all the different things regarding transport you'll need to know. Getting to and from AG A huge part of transport is managed by you and your group. Getting to and from the event will be organised with your unit but there are multiple options which you can choose to take. Taking the train We provide a pick-up/drop-off service from the Warragul Train Station on Friday night & Sunday afternoon. This means that you can catch the train to Warragul and be met by our team to take you the final stretch of the way.   If you are going to travel by train, you need to select the train pickup and/or drop off service through the online signup. Taking the car Lardner Park is a short 1 hour drive along a dual lane freeway from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.  Take the Monash Freeway away from the city and keep following the signs to Warragul.  Just past the Drouin exit ramp you will see the signs to Lardner Park. Coming from Melbourne, take the first exit to Warragul which is also marked to Lardner Park.  Within 1km of the exit, turn right onto Lardner’s Track. Follow Lardner’s Track along approx 14km and then turn right onto Burnt Store Road and Lardner Park will be on your right a little way up.  Entry to the site is via GATE 4A ONLY. All intersections will be signposted with AG signs showing the directions. Transport during the weekend If you've booked an offsite activity then you'll need to visit our transport team at the Transport tent when its your turn to go offsite. The time your activity departs is on the back of your ID tag and we ask that you arrive 15 minutes beforehand so we can make sure we have everyone before we set off. If you have any questions about offsites throughout the weekend, feel free to come into the Admin building and ask our team (we don't bite). Closing Parade (leaving Sunday) After a long weekend, we all want to get home to a comfy bed and warm shower, but that doesn't mean skipping Closing Ceremony. All units are required to attend as there is important information we need to give you before you set off for home. Cars are allowed on site at 10:00 am, and the closing ceremony is at 10:30 am. People will not be able to leave site without a pass out form until the closing ceremony is done. If your unit has a long way to travel and would like to leave early, then this MUST be approved by the Camp Director and you should contact the admin team now at admin@anythinggoes.net.au .
