Anything Goes committee greatly appreciates any assistance Rovers can provide with the following roles. Rovers wishing to attend AG and help in a service capacity should complete an application via the website and provide a personal information form. There is no cost for Rovers to attend AG in a service capacity.
Through the online signup please indicate which roles you would prefer to assist with and your availability if you are not able to attend the whole weekend. As Rovers are adult members of the Scout movement you will be required to camp in a designated area. Anything Goes is also a totally dry site and the consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated.
5 people - Friday night 5-Midnight pm. Checking Venturers in, scanning ID tags and providing them to youth and adult members as per supplied instructions.
2 people Friday night 5-11 pm. Showing Venturers to campsite area and outlining rules.
6 people - All night shifts Friday and Saturday nights (can be different people). Under the direction of police scouters, this will include no less than hourly patrols through the tent lines and identification of breach of camp rules. You will not be required to provide discipline to members, but will be required to escort offenders to admin area or notify admin to come to site where an offence has occurred.
2 people - Day shifts Saturday and Sunday morning. Manning the gate and checking all personnel in and out are permitted to do so as per paperwork supplied.
Minimum 6 people - Saturday 4-8 pm. Responsible for set up and pack up of jelly wrestling, including making the 'jelly'. Budget provided. Must run the event according to our code of conduct.
6 people - mainly daytime shifts as required. Under the direction of the Works & Services Manager, maintain the site as per OH&S guidelines. This will include emptying rubbish bins, but no cleaning of toilets.
5 people - Sunday 9am-3pm. Involves inspection of camp sites for cleanliness and issuing of release forms for Unit departure.
